The Evionnaz site founded by the acquired company Orgamol has been dedicated to the fine chemicals business for decades. It consists of two independent parts (north and south site) with a total of 6 production plants containing a large proportion of flexible multi-product reactors and two finishing centers. At the site BASF operates a fully equipped kilo and pilot plant as well as R&D laboratories which provide additional support. The broad range of technologies available includes phosgene and azide chemistry, asymmetric hydrogenation and low-temperature reactions. The headquarters of BASF Fine Chemicals Switzerland is also located in Evionnaz.
